The local chapter is led by an executive committee of at least five members. The chair and deputy chair are elected for one year and the other members for two years, but so that at least one of the other members is up for election every year.
A secretary can be elected either from among the members of the executive committee or from outside its ranks.
The executive committee will lead the local chapter in close collaboration with the central executive committee, and report to the latter via the secretary-general.
The budget is forwarded to the secretary-general of the NPF immediately after the annual general meeting for submission to and final approval by the central executive committee. The annual report and accounts are submitted to the general council for final approval.
An extraordinary general meeting is called when requested by at least half of the members of the executive committee or one-third of the members, or when the central executive committee deems it to be necessary.
