25 years of broad E&P experience in technical and managerial positions. Prior to joining Rystad Energy in 2015 he worked as VP Commercial, BD & Strategy at Talisman Norway. Worked for BP and Statoil and smaller E&P’s in Norway and internationally, onshore and offshore, covering the life cycle of the field from exploration to mature producing fields. M.Sc. degree in Petroleum Technology from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.

Daniel is the Norwegian Oil and Gas transactions leader in PwC. Daniel brings a breadth of transactional experience from E&P and oilfield services from his 15 years with PwC in Stavanger. He has worked as an advisor on a number of large capital market transactions in addition to contemplated and completed private transactions. He regularly works for E&P majors and independents advising in transactions, including due diligence, valuation and modelling services and advice.

Daniel’s main industry focus is within oil and gas, and technology companies serving the oil and gas industry where transactions involving small to medium sized technology companies developed by a group of entrepreneurs have been very common. He regularly works for private equity and venture capital investors in a transactional setting and has an extensive network.

Ada Christiane Rieker has a BBA from University of Washington and an MBA from Pacific Lutheran University with focus on finance and economics. She has also completed a course in Board Management at BI Norwegian Business School.

Ada has 25 years of professional and leadership experience from Hydro and Statoil, mainly working within the field of investment analysis, portfolio management, strategy and business development, but she also has experience from internal audit, IS management and investor relations. She has extensive experience from senior level management positions with leadership of multidiscipline teams across geographic regions.

Ada has for years been particularly dedicated to improve value creation through good decision processes, focusing on providing high quality decision support by improving analysis methodology, tools and work processes, training professional staff and enhancing cross discipline collaboration.

Per Valvatne works as Chief Specialist in the Oil and Gas Department at the Norwegian Ministry of Petroleum and Energy. He has worked in the Ministry since 2011, where his responsibilities have included TPA regulation, gas infrastructure regulation, infrastructure development and economic analysis of the Norwegian oil and gas sector.
Before joining the Minstry, Per Valvatne worked in the Monetary Policy Department at Norges Bank.
Per Valvatne holds a Master's degree from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) from 2009.

Peter Hiorth is a partner in law firm Schjødt, Norway working out of its Stavanger office. He is a specialist in oil and gas law, including taxation.
Peter Hiorth has more than 30 years' experience from international and Norwegian oil industry and is counsel to several international E&P companies on the Norwegian continental shelf. He has served in a number of joint industry work groups on oil and gas taxation, including Tax Committee chairman of the Norwegian Oil and Gas Association.

Espen joined DNB 2001 and has been Global Head of Oil & Gas since 2010.

He has held various management positions within DNB’s corporate banking area related to energy and ocean industries, including Head of Energy Americas/Head of the Houston Office and Head of Energy in the UK. He is currently based in Oslo.

May 1983 to January 2002 – Equinor (Statoil)
o 2000 – 2002 Vice president Natural Gas. Joint marketing and sale of all Norwegian gas through the Gas Negotiating Committee (GFU). Administering all the gas sales to Central- and North Europe including negotiating a) price revisions and b) provision of gas distribution capacity on the Continent. The restructuring work to change the Norwegian gas sales to be within the framework of the Gas Market Directive. Establishing the Gassled Joint Venture by merging the various gas transportation joint ventures/companies such as Statpipe, Zeepipe, Europipe, Europipe II, Franpipe, Åsgard Transport et cetera.
o 1995 – 2000 Vice president Natural Gas & General Mng. Statoil (UK) Gas.
Identifying and evaluating opportunities within the UK and Ireland energy markets to enhance Statoil’s position, with focus on the gas sector (sale of gas, end-user marketing, trading, power generation, pipeline ownership and storage assets). Establishing a gas trading company (Alliance Gas Ltd., approx. 150 employees) selling gas to industrial and commercial end-users in UK and trading on gas hubs. Developing (with the ESB Group) the Ringsend power station (450MW) in Ireland.
o 1987 – 1995 Manager, Commercial Unit. Established various gas transportation joint ventures/companies such as Zeepipe, Europipe, Franpipe and managed in addition others such as Statpipe.
o 1983 – 1987 Manager, Control and Data Acquisition Systems. Specified and supervised the development of the first control and data acquisition systems for the Transport Control Centre for Norwegian gas.

Before that he has worked in Norwegian Banker’s Association and Econ Centre for Economic Analysis. Andreassen holds a master degree (equivalent) in Economics from University of Oslo (1984)

Jonas Gamre is Vice President Business Development in Aker BP ASA. He has broad experience from the oil and gas industry as well as capital markets. He joined Aker BP in 2014 as Vice President Investor Relations. Prior to joining Aker BP, Gamre worked as an equity research analyst for Fearnley Securities, covering the E&P industry.

Gamre holds a Master’s Degree in Business and Economics (Siviløkonom) from the Norwegian School of Management (BI)

Thor Magnus has 18 years of international experience from Statoil, Rocksource and Rovik AS. Significant experience from international oil and gas, including exploration, development and production projects in functions such as business development, finance, strategy and negotiations. Rovik has also executed seismic, rig, and infrastructure projects. He has a broad international network in the industry and is currently working strategy and business development projects with companies in E&P, oil service, infrastructure and relevant investors.

Thor Magnus has a MSc (Cand Merc) in Strategy and Finance from Copenhagen Business School and Georgia Institute of Technology.

Teodor Sveen-Nilsen (born 1982) works as a financial analyst at SpareBank1 Markets. He has broad experience from equity research, business valuation, financial advisory and energy market research. Mr. Sveen-Nilsen is covering the oil market, E&P companies and the oil service sector, focusing on the Scandinavian listed names. He is a board member of the Norwegian Society of Financial Analysts (NFF) and is represented in a number of NFF’s expert committees.

Based on client feedback, the magazine Kapital has ranked him among the top three oil and gas equity analysts in Norway for several consecutive years. Prior to joining SpareBank1 Markets, he worked with Swedbank, First Securities and PwC.

Sveen-Nilsen holds a Master in economics from Norwegian School of Management (BI), a MBA in Corporate Finance from Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) and has achieved the title Chartered European Financial analyst (AFA).

Mr Lars Erik Aamot has more than 20 years of experience from the oil and gas industry, mainly from different roles in the Norwegian Ministry of Petroluem and Energy. Since 2009 he has been the Director General for Oil and Gas in the Ministry.

Mr Aamot obtained his Cand Oecon degree from University of Oslo, Norway in 1996. He joined the Ministry of Petroleum and Energy working with issues related to Norwegian petroleum and environmental policies. In 2000 he joined Statkraft as Senior Economist. In 2001 Norsk Hydro AS as a Senior Investment Analyst working with business development and follow-up of its activities in US, Libya and Russia. He returned to the Ministry as Deputy Director with responibility of Economic Analysis in 2002. Between 2004 and 2007 he was the Counselor for Energy at the Norwegian embassy in Washington DC.

As Manager in Accenture’s Strategy practice, Jyoti has extensive experience from analyzing industry and technology trends, developing technology strategies, and defining operating model mechanisms. Her experience from a broad range of industries provides valuable insight into how business needs and challenges are translated into digital strategies for Accenture’s clients. Jyoti holds a master’s degree from NTNU in Industrial Economics and Technology Management, where she specialized within strategy, business development, and IT.

Dr. John M. Lervik is the founder & CEO of Cognite, and is in charge of the strategic direction of the company. Before founding Cognite, Dr. Lervik was a co-founder of Fast Search & Transfer (FAST) in 1997, where he served as CTO to 2001, and then as CEO until Microsoft acquired the company in 2008. Following the acquisition, he served as a corporate vice president of enterprise search in Microsoft until 2009. Dr. Lervik also founded Cxense ASA in 2010, a software company listed at the Oslo Stock Exchange in 2014. In 2005, Dr. Lervik was one of technology innovators named as part of the prestigious Forbes E-Gang. Lervik holds a PhD from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), where he was awarded the Esso prize for the best overall PhD in 1996/97.
