Paula Doyle is Chief Digital Officer in Aker BP, and is a part of the Executive Management Team. Doyle comes from Cognite, where she has held the position as SVP Sales and Marketing and been a member of the Executive management team. Previously she has held a variety of roles within the oil and gas industry for companies such as ABB and Siemens, in Norway and the Middle East. During her time in the Middle East, Doyle established and ran a non-profit industrial technology organisation. Doyle currently sits on the board on the Irish Norwegian chamber of commerce and has previously held board positions at Aker BP and Energy Valley. Doyle holds a PhD in Computer Engineering from the University of Limerick.

Finn Carlsen graduated in 1986 with a M.Sc. in mathematics from the University of Bergen, Norway. He has industry experience from 4 years in Norsk Hydro related to ICT and statistics.

Finn was employed by the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate in 1990, and held management positions within safety and resource management. From 2004 he has held the position as director for supervisory activities in the Petroleum Safety Authority Norway.

Torgeir Waterhouse has worked with IT and IT policy in the Consumer Council and IKT-Norge for more than 20 years. Before the start of Otte in 2019, he came from the position of Director for internet and new media in IKT-Norge. In addition, he has participated in several public committees, boards, and organizations, such as Lær Kidsa Coding, and has given advice and assisted a wide range of companies and projects. He is a sought-after adviser, sparring partner, and speaker, and is often used in the media.

Frank Børre Pedersen is programme director in DNV with global responsibility for research and development on AI, digital innovations and digital assurance. He has more than 28 years of technical and managerial experience in DNV covering the energy and maritime industries, both as a consultant, project manager and research manager. He holds a PhD in quantum physics from NTNU from 1996.

Jasmine Ramberg Lilleby is a Human Factors Specialist, currently working for Aker BP with barrier management. She has a Bachelor of Science in psychology from Royal Holloway, University of London and a Master of Science in Human Factors and Safety Assessment from Cranfield University. Jasmine has over 20 years of experience working with HF application primarily in oil and gas and transportation industries, spanning across consultancy work, engineering and operations and a range of different HF methodologies.

Rialda Spahic has a doctorate in Engineering Cybernetics from NTNU where she researched risk-informed artificial intelligence in the application of autonomous subsea pipeline surveillance. She is currently an AI specialist and a task manager of Responsible AI at Equinor where she analyzes the international standards, legal requirements, and industrial application guidelines to ensure AI alignment with ethical principles and societal norms that foster trust and prioritize AI system safety. Additionally, Rialda represents Norway as an ambassador for Women in AI, a worldwide network spanning over 150 countries.

Lars Meløe is a Principal Consultant in DNV with more than 20 years of experience from the IT and energy sector. He has extensive experience within Business Development, Leadership and Strategic Partnership. He has led and implemented Digital Twin solutions driving the digital transformation in the oil and gas industry in Norway. Lars is currently in a lead role for the Digital Trust solution within DNV for the regions Norway and Southern Europe, aiming to build new services and business models to support DNV’s customers in their digital transformation. He has delivered several projects for leading energy companies and worked on collaboration agreements with global technology providers.
Education: Engineer in cybernetics combined with business economic

Karl John Pedersen help business gain trust in and maximise the value from their digital assets, with a focus on data. He works in a team who create recommended practices for data quality, sensor data, ML, AI and digital twins which are applied in high-risk sectors. He implement digital assurance of data, process and products for companies in these areas, as part of digital trust by DNV. Karl John Pedersen has a background and education in GIS with 20 years of industry experience.

Stefan Dümmong is a geophysicist at Equinor. He has working experience from different specialised roles in Vertical Seismic Profiling, Seismic Imaging & Processing, and Controlled Source EM. For the last five years working on fiber optics, mainly as the Product Owner for Equinor’s Fiber Optical Analysis Platform fo.tone.
Educational background: PhD and MSC in Geophysics from Univ of Hamburg, Germany with focus on Seismic Imaging & Processing.

Verena Hagspiel is a Professor of Investment and Finance in the Department of Industrial Economics and Technology Management at NTNU. In her research she develops and applies financial and operational methods for analyzing investment decisions under uncertainty with a focus on the energy and other commodity sectors. Before joining NTNU in 2013 she worked as researcher at the University of Lausanne and Técnico Lisboa. Verena is also a co-inventor of ProDecs - a software solution for financial analysis under uncertainty for complex energy and infrastructure projects. Verena holds a MSc in Technical Mathematics from the Technical University of Graz in Austria and a MSc in Quantitative Finance and PhD in Economics from Tilburg University in the Netherlands.

Thomas Lerdahl took a Master Degree in Physics at the University in Freiburg, Germany in 1991; and a Ph.D. in Physics at the University of Oslo in 1996. He worked for Statoil in the period 1997 to 2015, where he held various positions within both research and operations support.
Since 2016 he has been employed by OKEA where he now holds a position as «Lead Advisor Subsurface Quality Management». Amongst other, he represents OKEA in various research programs, such as BRU21 at the NTNU, and the NCS2030 Petrocenter at the University in Stavanger.

Andreas Svendsen Sandvik is working at Vår Energi as a IT & Digital Business Partner for Subsurface & Exploration and is also the competency lead for Energy Solutions and DataOps at Sopra Steria. He comes from a background of drilling engineering and has been working with digitalization projects since the start of his career. From working with digitalization and technology initiatives Andreas has become a firm believer that innovation can only be successful if it is supported by a strong data foundation.

Louis Vos is an Assistant Director for Data Management at the Norwegian Offshore Directorate. He has a CFA charterholder and have a degree in Investment Management from the University of Johannesburg. Louis has 16 years of experience form the oil and gas industry, both from the service industry side as well as the operator’s side and have been with the Norwegian Offshore Directorate since January 2021, and responsible for Data Management since July 2023.

James Elgenes is a Geophysicist by background with 13 years of experience in Equinor, spanning the entire subsurface value chain—from Exploration to Field Development and Production. His passion for data and digital technology led to project leader/product owner positions for technology development and implementation, and he became a leading advisor in Subsurface Digitalization (with a couple of years in between supporting Exploration SVP/EVP as a Management Assistant). Currently, he head up an organization (with ~ 100 people, internal and external) dedicated to Subsurface Data and Information management and Data Liberation. Educational background: University of Leeds BSc Geophysical Sciences, Imperial College London MSc Petroleum Geophysics.

Frode Skarstein is currently heading up IOCT in EPN. Headed up KVG Operations (Kvitebjørn, Visund, Grane, Valemon and Heimda) from l 2019 to 2023. Improvement leader in Operations West 2017-2019. Operations Manager Kvitebjørn and Valemon from 2014-2016. Technical Integrity with valves as speciality 2005-2013. Previously Solberg & Andersen (Valves) and education from 1992-2005
Skarstein holds a MsC in Adnanced Mechanical Enineering from Bristol University UK, a BSc in Automation from HVL and a certificate of apprenticeship in Automation from Bergen Maritime Høyskole.

Jarle Marius Solland is a Subsea Operations Manager at Aker BP ASA, a position held since September 2020. Jarle Marius has a Master's degree in Electrical and Automation Engineering / Industrial Echonomy (Indøks) from University of Stavanger.

Besmir Kajolli is a seasoned Subsea Operations Manager at Aker BP ASA, a position held since November 2018, where prior experience includes serving as a Senior Subsea Engineer. Before joining Aker BP ASA, Besmir Kajolli worked as a SURF Engineer at IKM Ocean Design from March 2011 to November 2018. Educational credentials include a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Subsea Technology and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Civil Engineering, both obtained from the University of Stavanger, with the master's degree completed between 2008 and 2010 and the bachelor's degree earned from 2005 to 2008.

Alexey Pavlov is a professor of Petroleum Cybernetics and a leader of the BRU21 program - NTNU Research and Innovation Program in Digital and Automation Solutions for the Offshore Energy Industry. Prior to joining NTNU in 2017, he worked in Equinor R&D, focusing on drilling automation and production optimization. The automation technologies developed by Alexey and his team were implemented in Equinor fields in the UK and Brazil, and were also licensed out. He holds MSc degree in Applied Mathematics and PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Linda holds a Master's degree in Petroleum Geosciences with emphasis on geophysics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). She has extensive experience from the seismic industry, working for companies such as PGS and SLB both in Norway and South East Asia. Linda has through her diverse career obtained that perfect balance between technical industry knowledge and a strong understanding of the customer perspective. For the past four years, Linda has worked as a Key Account Manager on the VPS Decarbonisation team and is passionate about helping to create a more sustainable offshore industry.

Christine Sjulstad is a Senior Data Scientist at Solution Seeker, with a MSc in Industrial Economics and Technology Management at NTNU, Trondheim. Technical specialization within data engineering, AI, and operations research. 4.5 years of experience within data-driven virtual flow metering.

Stéphanie Raoul is a Data Scientist at AkerBP. She is part of the central team focused on improving equipment availability, optimizing equipment performance, and performing root cause analyses across AkerBP’s operational assets.
Starting her journey in the Oil & Gas industry over 16 years ago, she has consistently leveraged the power of data and its transformative potential when applied thoughtfully.
She holds two master's degrees: one in Applied Statistics from the University of Toulouse Capitole, France, and another in Geophysics from the School and Observatory for Earth Sciences of Strasbourg, France.

With over 7 years of experience in the data analytics field, Jessica has a proven track record of helping clients derive actionable insights from industrial data to optimise operational efficiency. At Seeq, she manages enterprise accounts in Europe, working with clients in the Oil & Gas, Chemical, and Petrochemical process manufacturing industries to drive value and innovation through advanced data solutions. Jessica holds a degree in Linguistics and a Master's in Business Communication and Entrepreneurship.

Johannes Jäschke is a professor at the Department of Chemical Engineering at NTNU.
His research interests are process optimization and automatic control, including data and model-driven estimation of unmeasured variables.
Professor Jäschke leads the the fully industry funded SUBPRO Zero Center where 11 PhD and postdoc researchers develop knowledge that contributes to net-zero emissions in the offshore industry.

Stig Wølstad-Knudsen is an accomplished leader in the IT and Oil & Energy sectors, currently serving as the CEO of FutureOn. With a forward-thinking approach, Stig is passionate about combining technology and talent to solve industrial challenges. His expertise includes real-time operations, directional drilling, software and product development, alongside significant experience in crisis management, procurement, and contracts. Prior to his role at FutureOn, Stig held leadership positions at Kongsberg Digital and Weatherford Norge AS, developing high-performance teams and driving innovation across various industries.

Timothy Atkin has over 14 years of experience in the energy sector and has a passion for delivering digital solutions. He has previously worked to help develop software for a variety of software providers in the Energy Industry. He has an MSc in Petroleum Engineering.
