Anne-Lise is Manager for regulations and operational management in Offshore Norge working with operators and suppliers on the NCS advising on environmental regulations, decommissioning, diving and subsea assets. She has thorough experience with over 15 years in the oil and gas industry with legal counselling, regulatory development, leading contract negotiations, strategy work, project management, digitalisation, change management, M&A, leading gas sales tenders, analysis and studies, and infrastructure projects. Anne-Lise has a Master’s degree in Law and bachelor's degree in Business Administration.

Eirik has an MSc in reservoir engineering from NTNU. Eirik started his career in BP Norge AS in 2009 and worked as a reservoir engineer in the subsurface teams on the Ula and Tambar fields. In 2012 he joined Weatherford and was deeply involved in the revitalization of a major brown field in Siberia . In 2014 he and fellow colleagues started PRORES AS, a company providing subsurface consultancy and technology to the industry. Since 2015 Eirik has been the manager of WellGuard and the team leader of multidisciplinary teams to develop the company’s through tubing technology.

Frank Ludvigsen works as the Business Development Director in Scanmudring and has been a partner in the Company for the past 5 years. His main responsibilities include commercial development, strategy, business development, marketing, and tendering. Prior to joining Scanmudring Frank held various commercial positions in other oil service companies and financial services. He started with M&A activities related to oil production in the US before he went into brokering. He then moved back to Stavanger where his focus has been on abrasive cutting, diamond wire cutting, seabed intervention and subsea cleaning. Frank holds a master's degree from the University of Oslo and has been working in the oil industry for 15 years.

István Szőke is Research manager of the Applied Physical Sciences department of the Institute for Energy Technology in Norway, Head of Research for the DECOM Cluster for Decommissioning and Repurposing and Technical leader of the IAEA designated International Collaborating Centre for ‘Digitalisation of knowledge management for nuclear decommissioning’. He is also initiator and general chair of the DigiDecom workshop and training series focusing on AI, data and robotics based transformation, and responsible for the HADRON, Hazard Aware Digitalisation and Robotics in Nuclear and other domains laboratory.

Liam has been the oil and gas industry from 16 years of age. He has worked 14 years in field as service supervisor along with 4 years of operational and technical project management for rig less P&A and decommissioning. He joined ANT in 2021 as training and offshore service advisor. Liam was recently promoted to business development manager.

Martha has 20 years in O&G upstream and at BCG she co-leads the topics of Decommissioning and Decarbonization of the Upstream Asset and Oilfield Services. Before BCG she spent 3 years at McKinsey and 10 years at SLB.

Matt Blair is Chairman of J+S Subsea which was formed in October 2020 through a management buyout of the Subsea Engineering Division of Systems Engineering and Assessment Ltd. With J+S Subsea and SEA for over 15 years, Matt has a wealth of industry knowledge and expertise. Matt works closely with Oil company subsea engineering and production controls departments, supporting their subsea operational assets. Previously with Ferranti Computer Systems Ltd, Matt moved into hydrographic survey working with Subsea7, Tritech, and CDL before joining J+S Subsea. He was Vice Chair of the Decom Leadership Group of Decom North Sea and in that role he facilitated industry and academic studies on potential for reuse and repurposing of decommissioned equipment.

Michael has worked for 40 years in Oil and Gas industry where the focus during the last ten years has been on Decommissioning. During the earlier years his role was Project Manager/Project Controls Manager in many types of projects. In Repsol the initial 5 years worked on the original YME development project in various roles including Project Manager. After this moved back to development and project department as Project Controls Manager. During this period took over responsibility for Decommissioning and started building up processes and routines for this as well as started up decommissioning on several assets. While working for Repsol was their representative in Offshore Norge (NOROG) Decommissioning Forum and was chairman of this for several years. During this period was involved with IOGP decom forums as well as being Co-Chairman of the Europe/Mediterranean decommissioning network. His final few years at Repsol he was Asset Manager for Rev as well as project manager for Rev decommissioning project. Michael is now working as a decommissioning advisor for OKEA. Currently Chairman of the Offshore Norge specialist network for Decommissioning.

Nick McNally has been at the helm of Decom Engineering’s commercial growth since 2018 with a primary focus on the finance, legal and operational areas. Nick is a qualified chartered accountant, having trained with Ernst & Young in audit and corporate finance. Nick brings a passion for innovation through working writing R&D tax credit narratives for many years. With an extensive background of leading companies across many industries to successful fruition, Nick continues to deliver DE’s growing track record.

Omar Zahra is a research scientist in robotics with experience in mechanical, electrical, and control aspects of robots. He works for IFE on using robots in hazardous applications. During his MSc in Mechatronics and Robotics Engineering and PhD in Mechanical Engineering, he focused on bio-inspired control and implementing these controllers on real-robots.

Per has worked as driller and tool-pusher in Saipem and Transocean on semisubmersible rigs, and as Operations Manager in Transocean’s Coil Tubing drilling department. He has since 2002 worked with development of Riser-less Light Well Intervention, (RLWI), vessels for riser-less subsea intervention in Island Offshore, (now TIOS-group), including riser-less coil tubing operations. Is now working as department-manager in TIOS with focus on P&A of subsea completed wells. Per is educated as a Petroleum engineer from University of Stavanger

Richard (Ricky) Thomson joined OEUK as Decommissioning Manager in April 2022. He leads the OEUK’s focus on decommissioning, taking an action-orientated approach to communicating the voice of the UK’s offshore energies decommissioning sector to a wide variety of stakeholders including government and other nations and industries. Ricky joined OEUK from Houston where he was Project Manager / Decommissioning Manager for OXY Gulf of Mexico as well as a consultant for OXY’s Low Carbon Venture / Enhanced Oil Recovery work. He has over 15 years’ experience in the energy sector in the engineering and management of EPCIC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Installation & Commissioning), PMC (Project Management Contract) services for both operating and contracting companies worldwide. Ricky has worked in a multitude of locations worldwide including Middle East, United Kingdom, Australia, America and South East Asia. Ricky is a Chartered Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) and recently held the post of Chairman of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers in Texas. He is also a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute (CMI).

Sam is a Late Life, Decommissioning and low carbon specialist. Chief Executive Officer of Decom North Sea, a not for profit trade associated focused on decommissioning in the energy sector. Previous Business Development, Strategy and Project roles with Aker Solutions, Baker Hughes, Petrofac and Wood. MBA, MSc and BSC qualifications. Chairperson, Climate Ready Aberdeenshire.

Stephen Stragiotti was the D&W Project Leader for planning and execution of permanent P&A of 24 wells as part of the Veslefrikk cessation and decommissioning project. In 2015 he held the same position for permanent P&A of 10 wells on Heimdal using a modular drilling rig. Stephen has previously worked as drilling superintendent for operations on the Oseberg field, and as well intervention superintendent for operations on Kvitebjørn, Troll A, Veslefrikk and Huldra. He has held the position as advisor for wireline and tractor operations in Statoil, worked as a wireline field engineer with Schlumberger, and subsea engineer with JP Kenny. He has more than 30 years’ experience from on- and offshore operations in Norway, UK and Iran. He is currently holding the position as Operating Centre Leader for the jack up rigs Askeladden and Askepott, working on Gullfaks and Oseberg satellite fields, respectively.

Early in his carrier, Terje worked for large engineering contractors such as Brown & Root, Kværner and DNV. Then 10 years with Statoil within project management. He moved over to Talisman where he was given the responsibility for the Yme II project restructuring and removal of the unit that was scrapped in 2016. In the last period, he has had the responsibility for the cessation and removal of the Gyda facilities. Throughout his whole carrier, he has had an strong foothold in the technical, concept development and the practical part of project execution.

Arve Iversen is educated as Officer and aircraft avionics expert in the Royal Norwegian Air force 1981. He has held various operational positions over 14 years within seismic exploration in Geco-Prakla. For the last 21 years, he has been working in Oceaneering’s ROV operations department and is now responsible for The Liberty E-ROV system and the Onshore Remote Operations Center in Stavanger.

Stephanie Craig graduated with a Bachelor of Science from The University of Melbourne and subsequently completed post-graduate studies in Financial and Management Accounting at La Trobe University. In 2013 Stephanie started her career with TD Williamson, where she held multiple roles in sales and business development, later moving from sales to operations. Stephanie is currently a Project Manager in the SmartPlug Solutions group, based here in Stavanger.

Theogene Uwarwema is a experienced professional with a demonstrated history of working in the oil & energy industry. He has worked with various tasks related to project development within oil and gas representing the authorities as observer in different licensees’ management and technical committees on the Norwegian continental shelf, in close cooperation with major national and international companies/authorities. Theogene has a Master of Science in Process Technology from Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU).

Kristian has a degree in MSc Structural/Marine Engineering from Technical University of Copenhagen, 1987. He has more than 35 years of experience with project manager positions in variety of projects in the offshore industry spanning from early phase area development to platform installation. Working as a consultant 1998-2008 has given a broad experience across several operators and types of projects. Kristian had his first decommissioning project in year 2001 with the Ekofisk Tank for ConocoPhillips and is now back in the decommissioning industry since 2019 by being Project Director for the Heimdal Field Decommissioning project for Equinor.

Martin has a Master of Science in Petroleum Engineering from West Virginia University, USA. He has 38 yrs experience within all well aspects onshore and offshore: Production, Reservoir, Completion, Drilling, Well Intervention and P&A. He has also been chairman of the Norwegian Plug and Abandonment Forum for 6 years. Martin has worked with P&A in AkerBP since 2008 and was P&A Lead Engineer and Manager during P&A of Valhall DP 2014 -2019. Been Chief Engineer since 2019.
