Eduardo Zacaron is a Mechanical Engineer with a specialization in Subsea Equipment Engineering and a postgraduate degree in Project Management. He has been working at Petrobras since 2007 and since 2014 leads the decommissioning strategies and projects. He is currently General Manager of the area at Petrobras.

Graduated in Mechanical Engineering. He has been working at PETROBRAS since 2002 in several areas as a technician and supervisor of Offshore Equipment and Facilities Inspection, project management and port logistics. He is currently manager of the Integrity and Deactivation of Platform Systems area in the Campos Basin.

Manager for regulations and operational management in Offshore Norge working with operators and suppliers on the NCS advising on environmental regulations, decommissioning, diving and subsea assets.
Thorough experience with over 15 years in the oil and gas industry with legal counselling, regulatory development, leading contract negotiations, strategy work, project management, digitalisation, change management, M&A, leading gas sales tenders, analysis and studies, and infrastructure projects.
Master’s degree in Law and bachelor's degree in Business Administration.

Over 40 years in O&G industry and currently working as a decom advisor to OKEA plus also Chairman of the Offshore Norge specialist decommissioning network.

Prior to working at OKEA he worked for 14 years at Repsol in various roles covering Asset manager, project manager for decommissioning and a new development project and project serices manager.

For 22 years worked in Aker Solution on many types of projects covering decommissioning, Maintenance & Modification and large modification projects plus establishement of new joint ventures in Canada and Aberdeen.

Audun M. Martinsen is Partner and Head of Energy Service research at Rystad Energy. He is managing the energy service research team as well as being the Product Manager for the supply chain databases ServiceCube. His fields of expertise include the global offshore and onshore energy service market, cost analysis and supply and demand studies. He holds a Master of Science in Marine Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) and University of Berkeley, California, and an Executive Master of Management Program within finance from BI. He has broad experience within the energy industry and supply chain with previous engagements at Coriolis, Shell and BW Offshore where he has worked as a lead engineer, product developer, system consultant and analyst.

Michiel is a mechanical engineer with over 15 years of experience in the O&G industry. In 2019 Michiel joined Heerema Marine Contractors and in his role as commercial manager looks after the O&G activities including decommissioning.
Before joining Heerema Marine Contractors Michiel worked in commercial positions at Heerema Fabrication Group and Mercon Offshore at that time both active in design and fabrication of O&G Offshore Platforms.

Has been working with decommissioning projects since 1997. The first years with focus on offshore preparations for decommissioning and then later with onshore dismantling and disposal.

Graeme Fergusson has been in involved in upstream oil & gas for 20 years and is now the Commercial Director for AF Offshore Decom, having joined them in early 2022. Prior to this he has worked in numerous senior Finance and Commercial roles, largely on the operator side of the fence where he spent many years with BP and latterly, Fairfield Energy. It was here that he first met the decommissioning challenge, having seen the Greater Dunlin Area from an abrupt CoP in 2015 to its near end state today. Graeme firmly believes in the development of the decommissioning industry in its own right, both here in Norway and the UK, but also the broader opportunity around the world to export our knowledge, and is committed to continuing to push the boundaries of the decommissioning market to create value in decom.

Naval architect and Project manager at Semar AS. More than 25 years of experience in Marine Operations: Oil & Gas and subsea power cables. Involved in several decommissioning projects throughout the career, starting with Maureen Alpha in 1999.

Dr Francis Norman is CEO and Managing Director of the Centre of decommissioning Australia (CODA). Francis has held this position since CODA’s establishment in 2021 as an independent organisation to support the growth of Australia’s decommissioning industry. Francis spent the first 30 years of his career in a global engineering services company, then since 2013 he has held roles in industry associations working on behalf of industry.

Martha Vasquez is a core member of the Energy practice at Boston Consulting Group, specializing in upstream oil and gas, and oil and gas assets decarbonization and decommissioning.

Martha’s consulting experience for clients worldwide includes strategy, diagnostics and benchmarks, cost reduction, cost models, commercial due diligence, and digital dashboards. She has worked on projects covering upstream oil and gas exploration, development, production operations, decarbonization, and decommissioning.

Before joining the firm, Martha worked at McKinsey & Company and Schlumberger, where her focus was on production optimization, well intervention, field operations, and field development planning.

30 years of experience withing Drilling & Wells operations. Main background completion and intervention from both the service industry and from operator side. Started with fiber optic camera logging with Otis back in 93 before moving into completion and intervention with Halliburton. Moved over to BP Norway planning and executed completions on the Valhall and the Ula fields. During this period was involved in the e-Red plug development for intervention less completion and project lead for the Fishbone technology. Last 11 years been with Total and now TotalEnergies in HQ and Norway affiliate where main activity has been partner operated or OBO activity and R&D. Currently holds the position as Global Lead R&D P&A Technologies. Focus is rigless and through tubing technologies to reduce the TotalEnergies future decommissioning cost.

Lewis is the Project Manager to Net Zero Technology Centre’s Well Decommissioning Collab, supported by Petrobras, Harbour, Repsol, TotalEnergies and ConocoPhillips. With over a decade of experience in the energy industry with Subsea 7, Lewis has worked through various roles such as design draftsperson, project engineer and latterly offshore on their Dive Support Vessels until joining NZTC in April 2022.

Currently Leading the sector task across all NCS Operators for permanent and temporary plugging & abandonment, including focal point of contact for communication with service providers and research institutions with respect to qualification of new technology and new solutions for P&A.

Alastair is the Head of Decommissioning for the North Sea Transition Authority (NSTA). Prior to taking on this role in April 2023, he spent the last 16 years in industry, working for Chevron and then Ithaca Energy. Having originally joined Chevron as a Subsea Engineer, he took on a number of roles – primarily supporting different operational and project activities – during his time with Chevron, with several years spent leading the Turnaround (Shutdown) team for their UKCS operated assets. Following the sale of those assets to Ithaca Energy, he was a Lead Project Engineer and then became the Asset Integrity Team Lead for that organisation for several years, before joining the NSTA. Alastair has a Mechanical Engineering with Management (MEng) background and is a Chartered Engineer and a Fellow of the IMarEST. He volunteers with several local charities in Aberdeen and is a Board Member (and Treasurer) for one of these.

Hilda Kjeldstad, graduated in law from the University of Copenhagen in 2003, employed in PSA, now Havtil, since 2004, Head of Regulatory Development since 2016.

Felix Laate has a wealth of experience in the digitalization field, having held a range of positions in both the public and private sectors. As a software developer, software architect, CTO, and CEO, Felix has a diverse background in digitalization, with skills ranging from design and strategy to commercialization. Prior to joining Norwegian Energy Partners, Felix served as the Opportunity Manager at Greater Stavanger, where he focused on internationalization, project development, and interdisciplinary teamwork across various industries, with a particular emphasis on the energy sector.

Åsmund Sælevik is the Jack of all trades and master of none within subsea construction. He joined Shell back in 2012 and has been working with both development projects and decommissioning projects. Åsmund has broad and extensive experience of execute projects as Technical Lead where he takes great pride in delivering Scope of Work on budget and with high HSE performance.

Gijs Groote is working as a flow assurance lead for Norske Shell since 2023. He joined Shell in 2012 and worked in various flow assurance roles in Amsterdam supporting Shell assets globally. He has extensive experience in flow assurance and serves as the Technical Authority. Besides flow assurance he is also providing industrial cleaning support for cleaning pipelines and storage tanks for decommissioning or maintenance

Over 10 years of experience within project management, business- and technology development from Norse Cutting & Abandonment and Oceaneering. Started in Deep C in 2023 and are currently completing an MBA at UiS Business School with a focus on sustainability.

Arne Skeie have worked 22 years in Subsea 7. Arne have been many years in engineering, both in the pipeline discipline and in the structural discipline. He has worked 8 years as project engineering manager on projects such as Martin Linge, and Ærfugl, and is now working as Business development Manager.

Lead subsea engineer with 18 years experience in the subsea industry. He started in a tier 1 subsea contractor graduate program, and worked through various IRM, DSV, ROVSV campaigns, progressing into larger more complex subsea construction projects and decommissioning works.

Tor Aslak Lundtveit has a broad experience with decommissioning and has been with AF Offshore Decom for more than 18 years. He has been involved in several large offshore and onshore projects as an Offshore Field Engineer, Project Engineer, Project Control Manager/Contract Manager, Tender Manager and Project Manager.

His background prior to joining AF Offshore Decom is 3-years in the Norwegian Army working both in Norway and abroad and he holds a BSc degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Aker Solutions has strengthened its decommissioning business with the appointment of Bengt Borgen Hildisch as Senior Vice President of Decommissioning, starting in February 2024.

Bengt Hildisch brings an impressive 13-year tenure as President of AF Offshore Decom to Aker Solutions. During his leadership, AF Offshore Decom successfully removed and recycled a total of 400,000 tonnes of oil and gas installations. Hildisch played an important role in transforming the Vats yard into one of Europe's most modern decommissioning sites and previously contributed to the development of the company's offshore activities.

Kristian has more than 35 years of experience with project manager positions in variety of projects in the offshore industry spanning from early phase area development, platform installation and decommissioning. Working as a consultant 1998-2008 has given a broad experience across several operators and types of projects.

Kristian had his first decommissioning project in year 2001 with the Ekofisk Tank for ConocoPhillips and is now back in the decommissioning industry since 2019 by being Project Director for Decommissioning projects in Equinor.

Education: MSc Structural/Marine Engineering from Technical University of Copenhagen, 1987

Rebecca has worked as an engineer and leader in the petroleum industry for 28 years. She has worked her way up from process engineer offshore, through first line leader positions to Offshore Installation Manager at Troll and Gullfaks on the Norwegian continental shelf. From 2019 until the demanning in December 2023, she held the position as VP Operations for Heimdal. As risk owner for Heimdal’s final years, the focus areas have been safe operations, skilled workers and optimal maintenance to ensure technical integrity.

Education: MSc Chemical Engineering - Norwegian University of Science and Technology, 1995.

Andries has over 32 years’ experience in the offshore Oil and Gas Market. For the last 10 years he works for Heerema Marine Contractors and for the last 5 years he as Project Director of the Business Line Decommissioning is accountable through his project teams, in delivering the global decommissioning portfolio of projects under contract. Prior this his current employment he held various other Senior Managers roles of amongst which Operations Director at SBM Offshore in Schiedam, but he holds past experience in Procurement, QHSE, Construction and Engineering at the former Stork Protech.

Dr. Konstantinos Galanis has over 30 years of professional experience. He is a Director at Dido Shipping Co SA for Technical, Operations & Sustainability and since 2015 he is working on further upgrading the QHSE standards at the Group facilities at Aliaga, Turkey. He is a Lecturer at the Institute of Charterer Shipbrokers, Hellenic Branch teaching Maritime Economics, Educational Counselor and member of the Impact & Crashworthiness Lab for MIT, and Founder of Shipping for Kids. He has also served for 8 years’ onboard ships. He has taught for several years courses related to Naval Architecture & Marine Hydrodynamics. He is a member of ABS European Technical Committee and ClassNK Greek Technical Committee. He has published several papers in International Journals, Conferences and events and has written several technical reports, projects and a book. Konstantinos holds three graduate degrees from MIT, namely PhD in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering and Applied Mechanics, M.Sc. in Ocean Systems Management and B.Sc. in Naval Engineering. Since 2020 he serves as the Chairman of the International Ship Recyclers Association (ISRA) and is member of the BoD of MIT Club of Greece.

Hi is an Electrical Engineer that has been working in Project Management his whole Professional career (except during the very early years). He joined Repsol in 1999 and I have been working in a very wide range of projects, LPG plants, Tank farms, LNG Regas and liquefaction, FLNG, Hydrates, Offshore wind and facilities for E&P. Since 2019 when he came to Norway he has been working in Decommissioning projects.”

Prior to taking his role as Asset Manager Petter worked as a Facilities Engineer with focus on, amongst other, low emission and sustainability through projects and as Sustainability Coach.

Henning has long experience in the offshore and subsea oil and gas industry technologies and operations, and he is an inventor with more than 60 patents within wellbore and subsea technologies, as well as well intervention methodologies. He has co-founded and participated in the build-up of 17 companies within the oil industry, and have long background in well intervention, well completion solutions - including so-called “intelligent” completions, downhole electric- and fiber optic permanent monitoring solutions, downhole pump solutions, downhole electric wet connect systems, and more.
