Siv Dagny has previous experience as a senior project manager at Egga Utvikling, where she was responsible for Nord University's development project in Nesna. She has a political background, having served as Mayor of Hadsel, Chair of the Vesterålen Regional Council, county politician in Nordland, and political adviser to Anniken Huitfeldt.

Marius Lorentzen is a TV executive and anchor at Finansavisen, which produces daily TV and podcast broadcasts covering key topics in the stock market and business sector. He previously worked as a presenter and journalist at E24, with a particular focus on oil, industry, telecom, and aviation. Marius also has a background from TV2 and studied economics and political science at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Currently General Director of The Norwegian Offshore Directorate (NOD), with executive responsibilities.

Ståle Kyllingstad is a Norwegian entrepreneur, and the CEO and founder of the IKM Group. He began what would later become the IKM Group in 1989, when he acquired a calibration laboratory and founded Hydrotech Laboratorium AS. The company was later renamed IKM Laboratorium AS and became the first in a long line of companies operating under the common name IKM. Since the acquisition, Kyllingstad has become a prominent figure as a subcontractor to Norwegian industry. He is a sought-after speaker in business circles both in the Stavanger region and across the country. He currently serves as the Chair of the Board at Norsk Industri and at the industry association Norsk Industri, Oil and Gas.

Anders Opedal joined Equinor in 1997. From 2018 to 2020, he served as Executive Vice President for Technology, Projects and Drilling. Between August and October 2018, he was Executive Vice President for Development and Production Brazil, and prior to that, he held the role of Senior Vice President for Development and Production International, Brazil.

Opedal has also served as Equinor’s Chief Operating Officer (COO), responsible for safe and efficient operations. In 2011, he became Senior Vice President for Technology, Projects and Drilling, overseeing Equinor’s entire project portfolio. From 2007 to 2010, he was Senior Vice President for Procurement. Throughout his career, he has held a wide range of technical, operational, and leadership positions within the company. He began as a petroleum engineer in the Statfjord operations organization.

Before joining Equinor, Opedal worked for Schlumberger and Baker Hughes. He holds an MBA from Heriot-Watt University and an MSc in Engineering from the Norwegian Institute of Technology (NTH).

Terje Aasland was appointed Minister of Petroleum and Energy for the Labour Party in Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre’s government on 7 March 2022. Aasland holds a vocational certificate as an energy electrician (1986) and worked at Skiensfjordens Kommunale Kraftselskap (1982–1994), the Norwegian Union of Electricians and Power Station Operators (1994–1999), and the EL & IT Federation (1999–2005), before being elected to the Norwegian Parliament (Storting) for the Labour Party in 2005.

Nick Walker is the CEO of the Norwegian oil and gas company Vår Energi. He took over the position in September 2023, coming from his role as CEO of Lundin Energy. Walker now leads Vår Energi under the company’s growth strategy and works to strengthen its position on the Norwegian continental shelf.

Karl Johnny Hersvik has been CEO of Aker BP since May 2014. Before joining Aker BP, he was head of research at Statoil. He has held a number of professional and managerial positions in Norsk Hydro and StatoilHydro. Hersvik has a master's degree in industrial mathematics from the University of Bergen.
Hersvik is chairman of the board of RunwayFBU as well as board member of Offshore Norway, the international school in Bergen (ISB) and Clara Venture Labs.

Tim Gould was appointed the Agency's Chief Energy Economist in 2021. As Chief Energy Economist, he provides strategic advice on energy economics across a wide range of IEA activities and analysis. Mr Gould is also Head of the Office of the Chief Energy Economist, in which capacity he co-leads the World Energy Outlook, the IEA's flagship publication series, and oversees the Agency's work on investment and finance, including the World Energy Investment report.

Mr Gould joined the IEA in 2008, initially as a specialist on Russian and Caspian energy, and in recent years has designed and directed a wide range of IEA analytical outputs, while continuing to contribute also as an author. Prior to joining the IEA, Mr Gould worked on European and Eurasian energy issues in Brussels and has ten years of experience in Eastern Europe, primarily in Ukraine. He graduated from Oxford University and has a post-graduate diploma from the School of Advanced International Studies of Johns Hopkins University.

Øystein holds a Ph.D. from the University of Wales, Aberystwyth (2006), and a Cand. Philol. in History from the University of Oslo (2003). He also earned an MSc from the London School of Economics (2002) and an MA from Griffith University (2000). In 2010, Øystein was a Visiting Fulbright Scholar at the Fairbank Center for Chinese Studies, Harvard University.

Harald Magnus Andreassen is Chief Economist at SpareBank 1 Markets. He has previously held the same role at Elcon Securities, First Securities, and Swedbank. His areas of responsibility include analysis of the macroeconomy, as well as interest rate, currency, equity, and real estate markets. He holds a degree in economics from the University of Oslo.

Kristin Fejerskov Kragseth has nearly 30 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, having worked for ExxonMobil, Point Resources, and Vår Energi. She assumed the role of CEO at Petoro AS on June 1, 2021, after serving as Chief Executive Officer of Vår Energi. Previously, she held the position of Vice President of Production at Point Resources and Technical Manager for the Norwegian Continental Shelf at ExxonMobil.

Kragseth has held a number of positions within ExxonMobil, both in Norway and internationally. Her international assignments included roles at the ExxonMobil Upstream Research Center in Houston, West Africa Planning in London, and as Jotun Project Lead in the Netherlands. In Norway, she held various leadership positions, including Operations Superintendent, SSHE (Safety, Security, Health & Environment) Manager, and Public & Government Affairs Manager.

She holds a master’s degree in marine engineering from Texas A&M University and serves on the board of the Norwegian Oil and Gas Association (NOROG).
