For over 40 years, the conference has been the most important meeting place between the Norwegian oil and gas industry and the political community. The invitation list includes selected representatives from the Parliament, the government, the civil service, industry leaders, and key figures in the sector.

There is a limited number of seats available, and the conference tends to fill up quickly.
A registration link will be included in the invitation.

Practical Information 

Conference Fee:

  • kr 18.900 + 25% VAT for NPF members
  • kr 20.900 + 25% VAT for non-members

The fee includes the conference, meals, and standard accommodation from 13 to 14 January, 2026.

Accomodation:

Scandic Park Sandefjord, Strandpromenaden 9, 3201 Sandefjord.

Due to high demand, it is recommended to arrive the day before, Monday, 12 January. Accomodation for the night of 12-13 January can be booked upon registration for NOK 1,800 + 25& VAT.

Payment:

The conference fee can be paid by credit card or invoice upon registration.

Membership of the Norwegian Petroleum Society (NPF)

You can become a member of NPF by registering here first. 1 year membership for conference participants is NOK 1,100. Reduced membership fees apply for young professionals under the age of 34, students and seniors.

Cancellation

The cancellation deadline is 30 December, 2025. Cancellations made by this date will incur a fee of NOK 2,000. For cancellations made after the deadline, the full seminar fee will be charged.

Event Cancellation: In the event that NPF cancels the conference, participants will be refunded. Any expenses or work undertaken by participants in connection with the event will not be reimbursed.

Force Majeure: Events beyond NPF’s control – including, but not limited to, extreme weather conditions, acts of war, terrorism, transportation disruptions (such as strikes or accidents), government-imposed restrictions including travel bans, serious illness, or epidemics that make it impossible to fulfill the obligations for holding the conference – give NPF the right to cancel the event without liability for compensation.
