Oil & Finance – The rise of new NCS independents
The Norwegian Petroleum Society (NPF) has great pleasure in inviting you to the Oil & Finance Conference in Oslo, 13 – 14 March 2018.
The competitive landscape on the NCS is in the process of changing dramatically. Majors and utilities are exiting in part or in full and new significant players are created through M&A activity. Such companies like AkerBP and Point Resources are looking to capitalize on opportunities deemed too marginal by the Majors. Will they succeed in reviving the legacy assets?
Utilities are shifting their strategies away from oil and gas, leaving constellations like Spirit Energy, Ineos and Neptune behind.
In this rapidly changing landscape we will get the perspectives of CEO Maria Moræus Hansen of DEA and Thomas Bjørgo, CFO of Point Resources. We will get the private equity perspective from PE fund Bluewater and one of their start-ups Mime Petroleum.
These perspectives along with an update on M&A activity , bond and bank market along with a selection of relevant legal issues will give you an excellent overview of the current status of the NCS and hopefully a good indication of where it is headed in the future.
Welcome!
