Annual Petroleum Economics Conference 2026

STAVANGER

Welcome to the Annual Petroleum Economics Conference 2026!

10 – 11 November 2026

Venue: St. Olav Hall – Knud Holms Gate 8, 4005 Stavanger, Norway

The Annual Petroleum Economics Conference will once again deliver the latest insights into macroeconomic trends, market developments and other key relevant topics. Some of our most respected professionals are returning this year to share their deep expertise and perspectives.

Like last year, we will feature a dedicated session on geopolitics. The global landscape has become even more complex and unpredictable over the past year; yet another conflict has escalated into war, and the situation in Ukraine shows no signs of resolution. Understanding how these geopolitical shifts affect our industry is more important than ever.

This year we also turn our attention to marginal fields. With the average size of new discoveries on the Norwegian continental shelf continuing to decline, the question becomes increasingly pressing: How do we create value from marginal fields going forward?

We look forward to welcoming you to two days of learning, reflection, and connecting with fellow industry professionals.

A very warm welcome!

On behalf of the organising committee,

Inger Ubbe

Chair of Program Committee
