Reservoir Characterization 2023
Welcome to the
Biennial Reservoir Characterization Conference
4-6 December 2023, Stavanger
Reservoir characterization today and in the future
– new challenges and new technologies
Reservoir characterization remains a key activity for field development, infrastructure-led exploration and mature fields optimization. Understanding reservoir distribution, architecture and quality, and associated uncertainties, are fundamental for optimizing drainage strategy and well placement. Once again, the biennial NPF Reservoir Characterization conference aims to present case studies where multidisciplinary and integrated approaches to reservoir characterization have enhanced our knowledge and created new insight of the subsurface.
The conference will run over two days, split into four sessions
- Reservoir Characterization in field development and infrastructure-led exploration
- From well planning and data acquisition to improved Reservoir Characterization
- Characterizing and developing challenging reservoirs
- The future of Reservoir Characterization: New ways of working and new applications
On behalf of the Program Committee, we hope to see you at the seminar in December.
Eirik Rosseland Knutsen
