The 15th North Sea Decommissioning Conference 2015

Bergen

The 15th North Sea Decommissioning Conference

On behalf of the Norwegian Petroleum Society (NPF), it is my great pleasure to invite you to the 15th Annual NPF North Sea Decommissioning Conference at the Solstrand Hotel from 9th-11th  February 2015.

In the good traditions of this conference, the programme committee has established a varied program addressing both lessons learnt current and future challenges in the decommissioning industry. Representatives from the industry including authorities, contractors and operators will exchange their views, plans and lessons learnt during this two-day conference.

Although the main programme commences on Tuesday morning, we recommend everyone joins on the Monday evening to enjoy an “appetizer” presentation and the exceptional facilities of the Solstrand Hotel.
This year’s program includes a “quick-fire” session on Well Plugging and Abandonment allowing several contractors to address their technology. In the afternoon of the first day, two breakout sessions are scheduled to focus on the decommissioning market in the current low oil-price environment and industry collaboration in decommissioning.

We hope that you will find the programme varied and informative and that your participation at the conference both will reveal some new opportunities and establish new and improved business relations.
We look forward to seeing you there in February!

Regards
Dag Roar Johansen
Chair, Programme Committee
