The 19th Conference on Field Reservoir Management 2014
On behalf of the programme committee, I would like to invite you to the NPF Conference on Field Reservoir Management on the 17 – 18th of June in Stavanger.
For the 19th time this year, the NPF is organising the Conference on Field Reservoir Management in Stavanger. This annual event is an opportunity for the subsurface community to share best practices as well as new technologies in reservoir management. Reservoir engineers, petroleum engineers, geologists and geophysicists use this occasion to network, and to get an update on recent achievements, changes and new developments on the Norwegian Continental Shelf. Invited speakers will also share some highlights from outside Norway.
The conference will start with a keynote speech given by Arne Holhjem, director for environment, technology and IOR in the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate. Then the programme committee, supported by very positive feedback from the earlier conferences, has put together an exciting programme. The talks will be grouped under five main themes: “IOR/EOR”, “Green Fields”, “Brown Fields”, “New Technology” and “Surveillance”. As in previous years, field examples will be an important part of the conference. There will be talks about mature fields like Ekofisk* and Ula* , in addition to new fields and future developments such as Skarv* and Johan Sverdrup*.
The Conference and the Conference Dinner will be held at Sola Strand Hotel, situated in inspiring surroundings close to Stavanger, Sandnes and Stavanger Airport Sola. During breaks you can gather your thoughts while enjoying the beautiful view on Sola Beach, or catch up with colleagues and Joint Venture partners before the summer vacation starts.
Best regards,
Vincent Kretz, Talisman Energy Norge AS
