Webinar:
The 21st North Sea Decommissioning Conference

ONLINE

The Norwegian Petroleum Society (NPF) has great pleasure in inviting you to the 21st NPF North Sea Decommissioning Conference, 8 – 10 March 2021

Conference language: English

The 21st North Sea Decommissioning Conference will be arranged as planned, but will be held in a slightly different format than in previous years. Due to the unforeseen event with the Corona pandemic (COVID-19) the Norwegian Petroleum Society and the program committee has decided to arrange this year’s conference as a digital event spread over three morning sessions with a duration of approximately two hours per day. Each day will have its own main theme where updates on projects and sharing of high impact lessons will as usual be in focus. If you do not have the opportunity to participate “live”, there will be an opportunity to watch the recording afterwards.

2021 will be a special year! Also, for the NPF Decommissioning Conference! Unfortunately, we cannot meet face to face this year, but the Program Committee is pleased to announce a Program which we think will interest you and bring value to you and your Company.

We have divided this year’s conference into three sections with focus on Projects and Portfolio updates, P&A Experience, and Technology Development relevant to the Decommissioning Industry.

The Norwegian Oil Directorate will give their overview of the decommissioning actives planned for the coming five years on the NCS. You will also get the overview from companies like Equinor, AkerBP and ConocoPhillips.

Norwep will contribute to this year’s conference with updates on projects in the Far East and give guidance on how companies can reach the international P&A and Decom Market.

In the P&A section companies like AkerBP, ConocoPhillips and Equinor will focus on experiences and technology development within the P&A function.

In the Technology Section the focus will be on innovative solutions to the challenges faced in decommissioning. We will hear from SubC, DeepOcean, Heerema and AF among others.

Welcome!

On behalf of the program committee,

Ingrid Hønsi (chair)
