Franziska started as a geologist in oil and gas exploration in 2008, working for Verbundnetz Gas AG, Germany. She has since moved to Norway and after working for VNG for nearly ten years, decided to switch from private to public sector. She joined the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate in 2017 and has since worked with play analysis, licenses and exploration strategy. Franziska holds a master’s degree in geology from the Friedrich Schiller University in Jena.

Kyrre M. Knudsen is chief economist in SpareBank 1 SR-Bank. Prior to that Knudsen was chief analyst in Statoil (2010-2013). Knudsen graduated in Economics from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration (NHH) in 1999 and holds a cand.polit degree in Economics from the University of Oslo (2001). His experience includes financial market structure and regulation (Norwegian Ministry of Finance), academic and financial market research (Central Bank of Norway), and investor relations (SpareBank 1 SR-Bank).

I Chair the executive Board for the fire and rescue department for Southern Rogaland, we have the responsibility to oversee the emergency response services, for over 300 000 people with our staff of over 400 personnel. We work to improve services, modernize equipment, fire engines and fire stations - as well as increasing traning and education amongs our firefighters and rescue personnel.

Peter M. K. Greve has more than 10 years’ experience from the energy sector. He holds a MSc in natural resource mgt. from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences, including an exchange to Makerere University, Kampala, Uganda. After completing a master thesis on “the behavior of the Scandinavian brown bear when approach by people on foot” he got a position in Equinor. Peter started as a sustainability professional and has experience from leading impact assessment processes for both wind and oil and gas projects in Norway, the UK and the US. He later became the leader of the impact assessment department in Equinor and today leads a sustainability department responsible for supporting Equinor projects on sustainability (impact assessment, social performance and environmental technology). In this role Peter also coordinates the implementation of Equinor’s climate roadmap in the project organization.

Gaute Eiterjord 23 years old and from Stavanger. He is chair of Young Friends of the Earth Norway, an organization with 9000 members and about 70 local groups. He has been organizing climate strikes and is working with the climate lawsuit against the norwegian state. He has also been working to prevent dumping of toxic waste in Norwegian fjords and protecting vulnerable sea areas from oil drilling.

Ove M. Helle has more than 10 years’ experience working for the oil and gas industry in ExxonMobil, Point Resources and Vår Energi. He has had several roles within the HSE area, and has been in the current role since December 2018. Before joining ExxonMobil, Helle spent 19 years in the Norwegian Air Force. Previous assignments include tactical coordinator on the P-3 Orion maritime patrol aircraft, operations, training, exercises and planning positions at Headquarters in Norway, as well as at the NATO maritime HQ in Northwood, UK.
He graduated from the Norwegian Air Force Flying School and US NAVY Naval Flight Officer School in 1992 and from the Norwegian Air Force Academy in 1998.

Kristin Færøvik joined Lundin Norway AS as Managing Director in 2015. Kristin has more than 30 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Her career started in BP where she held several technical, commercial and leadership positions both in Norway and internationally. From 2003-2010 she worked for Marathon Norge as Commercial Manager and subsequently Managing Director. From 2010 and untill joining Lundin, Kristin served as Managing Director for Rosenberg WorleyParsons. Kristin holds a degree in Petroleum Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Trondheim (NTNU).
She is currently Chair of the Board of Directors of the Norwegian Oil and Gas Association, a role she has held since November 2016.

I started as a trainee offshore in 2010, working for Exxon Mobil on Balder FPU. Took my certificate of apprenticeship as a process operator in 2012, and has been working as a CCR-operator on Balder until now. Took part in the transmission to Point Resources in 2017 and Vår Energi in 2018. Just started a new job onshore as a shutdown lead for the Balder and Ringhorne platform.

Has since March 2019 been a part of the project “The big Picture”.

Helge Lunde holds a M.Sc in Engineering from NTH (now NTNU) and also a degree in Economy from NHH. He has now worked in the O&G industry for close to 40 years. He has worked for operators like Exxon, Mobil and Equinor, but went to the supplier industry in 1998 and helped develop Apply Sørco into a major EPCI and V&M contractor. He and his colleague David Pinchin wrote the first patent application for Seabox back in 2003 and he established Seabox as a company for developing and commercializing this technology in 2004. The first years as a part time job, but 100% since 2011. The Seabox and SWIT technology has been developed with funding from major oil and gas companies, private investors and through public funding programs like Demo2000, Petromax, IFU and Skattefunn. Since 2015 Seabox AS has been majority owned by NOV.

Mahmoud Khalifeh is an Associate Professor at University of Stavanger (UiS). He hold a PhD in plug and abandonment of wells. Dr. Khalifeh has developed the permanent P&A (Plug and Abandonment) subject (MSc level) at UiS. He has published more than 40 articles in scientific journals and conferences. Dr. Khalifeh represents UiS as observer at Norwegian PAF since 2012.

Atle Reinseth holds a Master og Business and Economics from the Norwegian School of Management specializing in procurement and logistics. Additionally he has courses at University of Oslo in political science. He started his professional career as a contract engineer in the Norwegian State Railway followed by a period as a consultant in EDB Gruppen, a Nordic software ERP provider. Then he was a consultant in the Government eCommerce initiative prior to joining Acergy where he held the position as Supply Chain Manager for the Norther Europe and Canada region. Joining Equinor in 2006, he has held various positions within the company. From 2016 to 2019 he held the position as head of Projects development for Tie-Back and Brownfield projects prior to recently taking his new role as head of Improvements in Technology, Drilling and Projects.

Kristine works with dispute resolution and contract law, e.g. within construction and offshore fabrication. Kristine assists in all phases of a dispute, from early assessments and claim letters to settlement negotiations and legal proceedings. She has litigated a high number of disputes before the ordinary courts as well as for national and international arbitral tribunals. She has in-depth understanding of the offshore and onshore construction industry from several years as an in-house consel.
