Torger Rød is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Vår Energi. Mr. Rød joined the company in June 2021, as CEO, and was responsible for listing the company at the Oslo Stock exchange as well as the Neptune acquisition. He took the position as COO in September 2023.

Previously, he was with Equinor for 23 years (including 11 years in executive positions), both in Norway and internationally. Most recently, he served as SVP and Head of Corporate Safety and Security, and prior to that role, he was SVP and Head of Project Development. In this role he spearheaded major project developments in Norway and globally, including renewables and low carbon project deliveries and value creation.

Mr. Rød holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Economics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Trondheim.

Nadia Martin Wiggen is a Director at Svelland Capital, a commodities-focused investment manager. She has 15+ years of experience in commodities as an analyst, originator, and trader, gained at Pareto Securities, Rystad Energy, Phibro, and Morgan Stanley. Her commodity competence spans oil liquids, gas, power, emissions, renewables, freight, agriculture, base and precious metals. Nadia holds an MSc degree from the Stockholm School of Economics and a BSc from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service, where she specialized in post-Soviet economics, security, and politics. She is an active public speaker and mentor to young professionals.

Hedvig serves as the head of Strategic Risk Advisory and Compliance at Thommessen, with a core focus on business and national security, and crisis management. Prior to her current position at Thommessen, Hedvig held a number of key positions within the National Authority for Investigation and Prosecution of Economic and Environmental Crime (Økokrim) and the Norwegian Police Security Service (PST).

Kara Meunier is currently working as a data scientist with Cognite for customers in the energy sector. Her background is as a petroleum geophysicist, having worked previously at PGS and Lundin. She holds a bachelor's and master's degree from Imperial College in Geology and Business Analytics, respectively, as well as a master's degree from Universitetet i Oslo in Petroleum Geology and Geophysics.

Thomas Tverdal has 10 years experience from Equinor and have had various leadership positions with-in subsurface. Now he is heading-up asset management and reservoir development in Equinor’s late life unit FLX. The purpose of FLX is to maximize value from fields in their late life through extending lifetime, drive operational improvements and new ways of working. Today FLX’s portfolio include Statfjord and satellite fields, Gina Krog and Eirin. Thomas Tverdal has a master degree in reservoir engineering from NTNU.

Erik Magnus Nordaunet-Olsen have a master’s in petroleum Geoscience from University of Stavanger and are working for DNO Norge as a Sr. Geologist. Erik Magnus is currently involved in the Northern North Sea exploration department and are involved in the Lomre Terrace area, which includes several recent hydrocarbons discoveries such as Røver Nord- and Sør, Carmen and Kveikje. He started his career in Suncor Energy where he was employed part-time as a geophysical assistant alongside his studies prior joining geologist in 2015.

Marthe Bodahl Lunde studied petroleum engineering at NTNU in Trondheim. She started working as a process engineer for an EPC company after the studies, as was involved with the engineering and building of several offshore modules before moving more into carbon capture projects. Started working for GreenH at the end of 2021, where she currently work as a project engineer.

Anna Lim currently works as a Principal Geophysicist and a Discipline Leader for deep-ocean space exploration at Argeo. The synergy of these roles revolves around leading the development and implementation of innovative solutions using geophysical methodologies and underwater robotics, particularly autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs). Having a PhD in deep-sea exploration geophysics, Anna continues to contribute to the advancement of the scientific comprehension of the intricate deep-sea realm using remote sensing and especially focusing on meticulous mission planning, data analysis and integration. Her work stands at the intersection of cutting-edge technology, hands-on fieldwork, and scientific exploration, striving to unravel the complexities of the ocean's geological and geophysical phenomena.

Ann-Cathrin Vaage has more than 25 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. She is manager for climate policy in Offshore Norge and is responsible for the engagement with authorities and politicans on climate related issues – both in Norway and the EU. In addition, she is responsible for Offshore Norge’s activities within carbon capture and storage (CCS).

Leif Johan Sevland was the Mayor of Stavanger from 1995 to 2011.
As mayor, Sevland worked to stimulate growth and innovation in the international energy sector and was among the initiators of World Energy Cities Partnership, where he served as President for seven years.
In 2012, Sevland became the President and CEO of the ONS Foundation. Since then ONS has developed into an event consisting of 9 conference arenas with 750 speakers in addition to the exhibition space.
