Kjersti Dahle is currently acting as Director in the NPD for Technology, Analysis and Coexistence. She is a geologist by background, with more than 20 years of experience in the industry, both from the full value chain within geology and various leadership positions.

Ane is working as Lead Geologist in Equinor in an Exploration team in the Northern North Sea. She has worked for 21 years in Statoil/StatoilHydro/Equinor, mainly within exploration NCS, but also has experience from exploration East Africa and several years of experience as an operation geologist and wellsite geologist at the NCS. She has a Cand Scient degree in Marine Geology from the University of Bergen in 1999.

Gunnar has a Master of Science in Petroleum geophysics from NTNU 2013. He is a Senior geophysicist with ~10 years of experience, mainly from exploration. Gunnar worked 5 years for Repsol, including one year in Madrid. In Repsol Norge he mainly worked exploration in the Norwegian Sea with a special focus on the Vøring Basin. Gunnar joined Aker BP in 2018 where he has mainly been working exploration in the North Sea. Held the role as an Asset Geophysicist for Aker BP’s non-op Johan Sverdrup field from 2020 to 2022.

Artur Przybylo is a Senior Geophysicist at PGNiG UN. He graduated with M.Sc. in Applied Geophysics from AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow, in 1998. He has more than 20 years of geophysical experience mostly in AVO, Seismic Inversion and Rock-Physics methods. At the beginning of his career, he worked for Geofizyka Torun on various projects in Poland and India. In 2006 he moved to Norway where he worked for Fugro-Jason, PSS-Geo and Edison Norge. Since 2020 he has been part of the Exploration Team in PGNiG Upstream Norway.

Carlo holds a degree in Sedimentolgy from the University of Parma and a PhD in Engneering Geology from the Turin Polytechnic. He has been in the oil industry for more than 25 years working for Eni in Italy as Structural Geologist and then as Exploration and Reservoir Geologist in UK, Australia and Russia. He arrived in Norway in 2010 working for Dong E&P and then, following the various acquisition, he has been working for Ineos and PGNiG Upstream Norway.

Øyvind graduated as a geologist from the University of Oslo. He has +30 years of experience in exploration activities in all the main basins offshore Norway; North Sea, Norwegian Sea and Barents Sea, as well as selected basins globally such as West of Shetlands, Greenland, North Africa and the Middle East. His current position is as Lead Exploration Geologist in the Gjøa area team, Neptune Energy Norge.

Atle is a Dr.philos in Geology/Sedimentology from University of Bergen 2021. He started in SINTEF Petroleum and worked there for 2 years, then moved on to Statoil/Equinor in 1998. In Statoil/Equinor he was first in the Sedimentology/Stratigraphy dept, then Kvitebjørn Petech and then in Exploration since 2008.

Steve is English, he studied a Bachelors I Geology at Royal School of Mines (= Imperial College, London) followed a Masters at Durham. He started working in 1984 for BP, which brought him to Norway late 1989, since when he has lived & worked in this wonderful country. He’s been fortunate to have worked in several Oil Companies through that time, seeking new inspiration in better datasets and an expanding peer network, seeking to feed a curious mind to investigate, discuss, & understand a bit more about the evolution of the Norwegian Shelf. His latest employer has been Lundin, which he was lucky enough to join 8 years ago. The big attraction of coming to Lundin was to continue his education in Hans Chr Rønnevik’s “lete-butikk” school of exploration. He now has an Aker BP logo on his "adgangskort".

Benjamin holds a Master’s Degree in Carbonate Sedimentology from the University of Marseille and a Master’s Degree in Petroleum Geology from IFP School Paris. He has been in the oil industry for more than 15 years working for Equinor and DONG as a geologist and INEOS as a Subsurface Manager. Currently work in PGNiG as a principal geologist, leading APA rounds and exploration farm-ins.

Matteo is a Geologist and has been enrolled in the Barents Sea exploration group in Vår Energi since 2014. In the previous three years, he has been working as a geologist at ConocoPhillips. Matteo has a PhD from the University of Bergen (Norway) and an MSc from the University of Padova (Italy).

Michiel holds a PhD in Structural Geology and started his career in the industry with Badley Geoscience in the UK. He moved to Norway and joined Eni Norge as Explorationist, before taking on more responsibilities as Technical Lead. In Vår Energi he took up the position of Exploration Manager for the Barents Sea.

Øystein studied MSc in Technical Cybernetics at NTNU and graduated in 2009. He started working for Equinor in 2009 and has been working with both Barents Sea and Norwegian Sea as a geophysicist, specializing on AVO and LFP evaluation. He has been working with the Johan Castberg area since award of the license and has been part of the interesting story of finding the oil and gas discoveries there.

Jorge is a geologist with 13 years’ experience at the NPD. He has worked mostly in exploration, but also in license work in production phase. The last four years I have been discipline coordinator for geoscientists at the NPD and have been working with coexistence in the Norwegian Continental Shelf. I represent NPD in the management plans for marine areas (“forvalningsplanen”) work and recently in a group lead by NVE which is to recommend new areas for offshore wind production.

Catherine graduated with a MSc in Petroleum Geology and Sedimentology from the University of Bergen in 2007. She joined ConocoPhillips in 2008 and has gained a broad experience as a geologist after working with the company for 15 years. Catherine has worked across several teams and assets in exploration and development in the Norwegian Sea and the North Sea. She has also spent three years in Houston working in the Global New Ventures Exploration team. Recently, she was part of planning and drilling of the Peder exploration well in the Norwegian Sea.

Gunnar graduated with a Cand Scient degree in Geophysics from University of Bergen in 1986. He started his career in BP working as a Geophysicist and Explorationist. Then joined Conoco/ConocoPhillips in 1995 where he held various positions as Geophysicist, Exploration Team Lead, Chief Geophysicist and New Ventures Exploration Manager. He returned to technical roles in 2005 and has since then worked as a Geophysicist on producing fields, development projects and on exploration and appraisal opportunities in ConocoPhillips, interrupted by a 4 year period working as a Geophysicist in Explora Petroleum from 2012 to 2016.

Clas graduated with an MSc in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Stavanger in 1995. He joined ConocoPhillips in 2021. Clas has a broad reservoir engineering experience from several fields and discoveries both in Norway and UK. Recently he was a part of the planning and drilling of the Warka and Slagugle discoveries in the Norwegian Sea.

Jan Ivar graduated with an MSc in Petroleum Geology and Sedimentology from the University of Bergen in 2012. He joined ConocoPhillips the same year and has worked the last 9 years in exploration as a licensed geologist for both operated and partner-operated licenses across the whole Norwegian Continental Shelf. For the last few years, he has been a part of planning and drilling the Slagugle discovery and appraisal wells in the Norwegian Sea.

Arild is a Dr. Scient in Geology from the University of Oslo in 2002. He has worked for A/S Norske Shell (2002-2006) as a Geophysicist / Geologist, the BG Group (2006-2011) as a Geophysicist, Wintershall Norge (2011-2019) as an Exploration Team Leader and is currently Exploration Manager Norwegian Sea.

Eva is a Geologist with more than 15 years of industry experience in exploration and production of oil and gas. She is currently working as Area Lead for the Skarv ILX in the Norwegian Sea. Eva joined BP in 2007 and Aker BP in 2016. She holds a Master’s Degree in Petroleum Geology from the University of Bergen in 2007.

Hege has 10 years of experience working as a geoscientist in the Exploration department at OMV Norge. Work has included a broad range from regional studies, prospect generation and APA license applications to non-op and operated license work in a number of HC provinces on the Norwegian Continental shelf. The main task in recent years has been to lead the OMV-operated PL1100 license work including planning and drilling of the Oswig 30/5-4 S discovery well. She has an MSc in Geology (Petroleum Geology) from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) and wrote her Master´s thesis on Sedimentological and Diagenetic analysis based on core material from the Snadd Formation in the Barents Sea.

Stefan finished his Master Thesis in 2013 and graduated from Technical University Graz, Austria. He joined OMV in 2014 as Junior Production Geologist in Austria (Gänserndorf) and worked on clastic and dolomite reservoirs in the Vienna Basin, mainly the mature Matzen Field. He also worked with well planning and supervision during operations, and update of geomodels in close cooperation with other disciplines. From 2018 he was employed as a Production Geologist for OMV Middle East in Abu Dhabi and Vienna and worked on OMV’s Libyan assets with a main focus on concessions in the Sirt Basin, static and dynamic model updates, well proposals, follow-up on non-operated licenses and provide support to Exploration. His latest position, since 2020, is Geologist in Exploration for OMV Norge AS in Stavanger where he is working on operated and non-operated licenses in the Norwegian Sea (e.g. PL644) and North Sea (e.g. PL1100), mature leads and prospects, well planning on Oswig well(s), built static model (pre-drill and updated post-drilling), post well studies.

Lars Marius is a 3rd-year Geology student at the University of Bergen. He works as part-time Geologist at M Vest Energy AS.

Kati is a geologist working with subjects that range from exploration to renewables. Her background in sedimentology includes anything from mixed carbonate-siliciclastic to clastic and magma deposits from continental to deep-water settings in conventional and unconventional basins. She has been in the industry for the last 10 years; from which ca five years she has been working with the Norwegian Sea assets. She holds an MSc and PhD from the University of Tartu, Estonia. In 2009 she joined Colorado School of Mines at US as a post doc and later as a Research Assistant Professor. She joined Equinor in Norway 2013, and since has held different positions within the company.
