The conference is a popular meeting and knowledge-sharing event for the Norwegian reservoir and production industry.
Technical experts will present case studies and explore new ways of working in reservoir and production management. The program will delve into both brownfield and greenfield projects, focusing on the challenges and opportunities associated with subsurface uncertainty and marginal field development in the oil and gas industry.
Delegate profile range from reservoir engineers, petroleum engineers, geologists and geophysicists with the North Sea as a field of work.

Students in their final year of a Bachelor’s degree, as well as Master’s and PhD candidates, are invited to apply for free admission to the conference. To be eligible, you must be enrolled at a Norwegian university or university college.
Please note that accepted students are required to present a poster at the conference. Submission of a poster abstract is therefore mandatory as part of the application.
The poster presentation is a key part of the student participation and an excellent opportunity to showcase your work and connect with industry professionals.

Conference Fee:
- NOK 6.900 for NPF personal members (+25% VAT)
- NOK 8.900 for non-members (+25% VAT)
The conference fee includes:

- Access to approved presentations after the end of the conference.
Conference Dinner:
Dinner is not included in the conference fee and must be chosen separately when registering. Fee is NOK 1200,- plus 25% VAT.

Exhibition Stand:
NOK 15,000 (+25% VAT). Require ordinary registration of a conference participant.
The exhibition fee includes exhibition space in the area outside the conference hall. This is the area where all coffee breaks will take place. Each exhibition space is 2 m wide and 1,5 m deep (1x conference table and 2 roll-ups).
Membership of the Norwegian Petroleum Society (NPF):
If you want to receive the conference member price, please register here first: https://npf.medlemssystem.com/registration. One year membership for conference participants is NOK 1,100. Reduced membership fees apply for young professionals under the age of 35, students and seniors.
Payment:
Payment can be made upon registration by credit card (Master Card/Visa/AmEx) or by invoice. If the invoice needs to be changed due to wrong or missing information there will added a fee of NOK 150 to the total amount. All international payments must be approved before the conference starts.
Conference Papers:
Presentations from the conference will be available after the end of the conference. Delegates will be informed when available via e-mail.
Program Changes:
It is sometimes necessary to make changes to the program. The conference organizer will not be liable for any such unavoidable changes.
Cancellations:
Cancellations must be received in writing by 20 May 2026, and will be subject to a cancellation fee NOK 2.000 unless a substitute delegate is offered. After this date, the full registration fee will apply, however, substitutions will still be accepted. Substitutions for registered delegates may be made at any time, but we would appreciate prior notification.
In case of cancellation of the conference by the Norwegian Petroleum Society, (NPF), the participant will be refunded the conference fee and/or the exhibition fee. Other expenses the participants may have are not refunded, and is not the responsibility of NPF.
Force majeure: Events beyond the control of the NPF – for example, but not limited to, extreme weather conditions, acts of war, terrorism, transportation shut-down (strikes or accidents), government regulation or advisory including travel warnings, serious illness or epidemics that makes it impossible to fulfill the obligations of conducting the conference entitle NPF to cancel the event without liability.
