Call for abstracts - Reservoir characterization conference!

The Biennial Reservoir characterization will take place at Sola, Stavanger the 7th and 8th of December.

Basic reservoir characterisation, together with new technologies and recent advantages in digitalization, are fundamental factors for making good business decisions in exploration and reservoir development. This conference aims to present case studies where multidisciplinary and integrated approaches to reservoir characterization has enhanced our knowledge and created new insight of the subsurface.

The conference will run over two days, split into four sessions

  1. Sedimentology, diagenesis and reservoir quality
  2. Structural reservoir characterization
  3. Integrated reservoir characterization – the key to reducing uncertainty
  4. Unusual reservoirs

The conference aims to deliver a mix of selected presentations from invited speakers and submitted presentations from the industry and academia. We especially welcome case studies where the impact of reservoir characterisation on key business decisions (reservoir model design, drainage strategy, infill wells etc.) are clear.

Call for abstract deadline 15th June. Please use the abstract template and forward to tonje.raknes@npf.no.
