New this year: The conference kicks off with the conference dinner, followed by a full day of conference sessions the next day.

Do not miss this opportunity to exchange knowledge and network with key contributors within
early phase field development as well as project execution.
Gaining momentum entering the mature age of NCS
The Norwegian shelf is facing smaller discoveries but may see a potential to lift activity by the numbers. Still investments on the shelf are expected to decline toward 2030. At the same time there is an urgent need for a collective momentum to maintain supply capacity and industry competence.
The industry’s usual answer is to compete harder for a shrinking share. The alternative is to change how projects are matured so that more become viable in the first place.
It starts with a question the industry has not really answered: who contributes to the business case for a marginal development? Today the operator builds the business cases mostly alone, and hands a defined scope to the supplier once the concept is frozen, one by one. We must share the models that works and further develop to lower the thresholds for execution.
The 2027 Field Development Conference brings together operators, suppliers and legislators to work through these questions using real projects, real contract models and real numbers. We know collaboration is a core element, but we need to explore the actual costs, who carries the risk, and how can shared returns improve the margins.
The program will be released soon – we hope to see you!
