The Norwegian Petroleum Society attended the EAGE Conference & Exhibition 2024 in Oslo this week. The Society was present in a display area with other associations to promote the upcoming petroleum conferences in Norway to the conference and exhibition delegates.
EAGE (European Association of Geoscientists and Engineers) is the largest global community of research and industry geo-professionals dedicated to supporting a multi-disciplinary approach to the investigation of the Earth’s subsurface.
The EAGE Annual is back in Norway after 20 years!
The theme this year – Technology and talent for a secure and sustainable energy future – sums up the most important contribution by our EAGE community to the societies we live and work in. The programme includes a state-of-the-art conference, exhibition, workshops, short courses, field trips, and community & student activities.
The conference and exhibition has over 200 exhibitors, more than 1300 presentations and expects more than 6000 visitors. In addition to the conference and exhibition, EAGE and the exhibitors organize a number of events in the city of Oslo.
